More snow fun

What a day!

We had a busy day. We let Connor open his birthday present early, because we knew it would be a long day inside with all the snow. He got a netbook (a mini laptop) and was thrilled!!

We got about a foot of snow, which will be around for a while, UGHHH! The kids had fun, and I have yet to to put my foot in it! Not a fan of snow.

Gingerbread houses!

I have always wanted to make gingerbread houses with the kids. Aaron went and got the kit, and we attempted to do this project!! Boy, was it messy!! The boys quickly gave up and simply stacked up thier walls with icing and ate them!! Lauren really got into it and did a really good job! It was fun but won't do it again!!
