Lauren's art show!

Lauren went to art camp last week. At then end of the week, they had an art show to display all their creations. She was so cute and was so excited that Aaron got to come see everything.

Pumpkin??????

The kids and I planted a garden early in the spring. We thought we were cutting a watermelon and were ready to dig in to a juicy treat! We cut it open and there was nothing inside........it was a pumpkin!!!!!

Water for sale!!!!

What's summer without a lemonade stand? Well, it's a summer with a water stand!! The kids made several cups of ice water for $5 each. They went beyond just water. They squeezed oranges to make orange juice, and they also had entertainment...Connor did a juggling act!! Believe it or not, they had a few customers. Needless to say, they only got a quarter for each cup of water sold!

Basketball Camp!

Connor and Alex are enjoying basketball camp this week

Nana's !!

Every night after dinner Nana would have "goodies." She made so many desserts for us while we were visiting. We had 2 peach pies, homemade ice cream, peach cobbler, root beer floats, popcorn, ice cream cones, banana nut bread, and of course watermelon!! She also made me homemade egg rolls and fried rice!! YUM!!
Ohhh! How could I have forgotten the HUGE breakfasts every morning. She made pancakes, bacon, and sausage because the grandkids insisted!!!

Papa sliding!!

Even Papa got in on the fun at Alex and Garrett's birthday party at Pump it Up! He went down the big slide with the kids!

Alex and Garrett's B'day!!

We had so much fun in Birmingham for the Fourth of July!! I started the week off with a race with my cousins. We ran an 8-mile race with the last mile being a trail run. It was a lot of fun but really tough. Four of those miles were UPHILL!

We ended the week at the going between Nana's and Gran and Papa's lakehouse. It was a really nice, long visit. The kids had a great time and were extremely exhausted when we got home!
