First Communion class

The kids took their First Communion class at church today. They learned what Communion actually was, why it is so special, and why we take it. They were so excited to be able to "get bread!" They really did learn a lot, and I was very proud and happy for them.

Lauren and her friend Lucie are taking dance together! I can NOT believe it!! She is doing ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop!! I am so excited, and she actually likes it!

So, I wake up at 6:30 this morning because I hear something rustling around downstairs. I get up to see what was going on, and this is what I found. Alex eating his Halloween candy!! Like mother, like son!!

Connor is trying to teach Alex to read! Notice how Connor is sounding out the words and Alex not paying attention at all. All he is doing is repeating the words and watching t.v. Then when he knows the word "the" he shouts it!! I was cracking up watching the two of them!
